Div 7 Semi Final: Coolmeen v Kildysart

Cúil Mín played out an exciting draw with Kildysart in the Div 7 semi-final on a score of Cúil Mín 1 – 08 Kildysart 1 – 08. A large gathering of supporters enjoyed this evenly contested game. Cúil Mín started brightly with Aidan Corry getting on the scoreboard. An Ian Slobody goal gave Kildysart an interval lead of 1 – 03 to 0 – 04. 

With the move of Noel Meaney to midfield and Kieran Neenan to full forward, Cúil Mín dominated possession and created numerous chances. Kieran Neenan expertly converted a penalty to give Cúil Mín the lead. Kildysart responded with three points to regain the lead. At this stage Cúil Mín had a goal disallowed but in the closing minutes Cathal Brooks moved forward and kicked the equalising point.
